live imperfectly with great delight
I read this saying on a Curly Girl card today that a friend sent to me and I thought – HOW PERFECT!
Live imperfectly…let’s decode this…(yes I’ve been watching way too many murder mystery shows – blame it on NCIS).
Live imperfectly…
Go through every day striving to live as Jesus would want us to live…be kind, help your fellow man (or animal), work hard, love each other, find joy, be grateful…but remember you’re human.
You will make mistakes, tell little white lies, complain, have moments of anger, and sometimes even walk past someone or something that could use your help…ask for forgiveness and try harder the next day. But don’t try to be perfect – it’s far too much pressure!
Live imperfectly…dance a little dance, sing a little song, smile at a stranger, lend someone a hand, stop to appreciate the little things, say please and thank you, and do it all…with great delight!
Realize that you are blessed each day!
