I love you to the Moon and back…

My husband was not supposed to buy me a Christmas gift this year.  You see I’d purchased myself a fabulous ring at one of our local festivals and it was supposed to be my Christmas gift (never mind that I wore it already in September).   But honestly, I truly wanted nothing more.  Did he listen?  No.

The man doesn’t listen.  I swear he never listens to me when it comes to gift giving.  That would be one of his few flaws.  I really, really, really didn’t want him to get me anything.  With that being said…

Did I return it?  Hmmm.

Well…?  Hmmm.

That would be rude wouldn’t it?

Yeah, no…I didn’t return it.

I LOVE IT!  It’s a brand spanking new camera!  Our old one (which he now has claimed) wasn’t working very well.  I did say that we needed to get a new one someday…and maybe we could get it after Christmas?  Because wouldn’t it be nice to have a new one so I could take better pictures for my new blog…and for our store website?  Bless his lil’ pea-pickin’ heart he just couldn’t wait.

Have I said lately how much I love this man?

Yeah…big time.

Anyway, this is one of my first pictures I took with my new camera on Christmas night.  The tiny little star you see is Jupiter, and from what I understand that’s the closest it gets to the moon.  I just zoomed right in and look at how cool this photo turned out!  It’s like you can see the craters on the moon!

Who needs a spaceship?  I’ll just stand firmly here on earth thank you very much…with my camera…and my non-listening husband…whom I love to the Moon and back.

  1. oh my goodness…you just reminded me of a book called, ‘guess how much I love you’. Just when I’m already heartbroken over my kids growing up too quickly I am reminded of the baby moments again 😦

    • You can always do what I did when I started missing my childrens baby moments…I decided to do daycare for a beautiful little baby twice a week!

  4. Just think of this way – cameras are always on sale before Christmas. So Tim gets extra points for his timing! 🙂
