Style Consultation aka Fun with Friends!

A fun afternoon with a friend turned into a fun afternoon with lots of friends!

We’d made an appointment when she sent out the text for help – she has four events coming up that she needs outfits for…

This is one of the things I LOVE to do…

And one of my God-given talents (which seems so minor in the realm of talents, but I have fun with it anyway)…

Helping people find the perfect outfit, or a whole new wardrobe, or a few things to add to their wardrobe!

We have a great time, trying things that are their style…things that are slightly beyond their style and even a few things that are way out there!

Needless to say there are more than a few giggles that happen.  We may even get a little loud and rammy…but that’s ok…we definitely have fun!

Back to today’s adventure…

Sheila and I were looking at some of the things I’d pulled out – sorting and eliminating, when a few other people came in (we were actually closed today).  It was great to see some of these old friends that I haven’t seen in a while!

Once we had a dressing room full for her to try on, off she went.  There were definitely some no items, and we discovered she’s not a scarf person as I put it around her neck and she immediately ripped it off…we had a good laugh about that one.

It’s always an adventure!

She did find some wonderful, fun pieces including a skirt that she may wear every day from now on – she loved it that much!  We shopped the new items, the consigned items and the sale rack of items…and she walked out with great deals!

This is the stuff I love to do.

Make people happy.

Sometimes all it takes is showing them a color that looks good on them…or finding the perfect summer jacket that they can wear with anything.

Or for Sheila, the perfect fun and girly skirt…

I’ll be smiling for days as I think of her dancing around the store!
