Doggles…check. Motorcycle and Sidecar needed.
My daughter posted these pictures on Facebook tonight.
This, for those of you who haven’t read my prior posts about him…is Louis, pronounced Lewee!
This adorable, funny bulldog is my Grandpuppy.
And when this Grandma saw these pictures (especially the featured image) she laughed VERY loudly!
Oh poor Louis…
I thought it was bad when I bought him a little rain jacket at the Old Navy outlet. Β Now his Momma (Alex) bought him these Doggles today…
In her explanation on the phone she said, “Mom, they’re like the ones you saw on tv where the dog was sitting in the sidecar! Β I had to buy them – they had a picture of a bulldog on the front!”
My reaction?
Silent eyeroll… and snicker.
They said I’m silly…
I think they’re having way too much fun with my grand-puppy!
…She says as she smiles widely at how funny he looks in his Doggles!…
(Doesn’t he look thrilled???)

I agree Megan! Of course, Louis in all his funny English Bulldog-ness really pulls off the best Doggle looks! I think it’s called the bulldog “Stink-eye!”

Someday I’ll have to show you the pictures I took of our dogs growing up. One dog named Ace was a Husky/German Shepard mix and I dressed him up in one of my mom’s Halloween costume dresses. I made him stand to the full affect of the dress could be seen. Right next to him was my little poodle, Spike, wearing some doll dress. They were quiet the picture of loveliness. Once I got into makeup Spike really had a fun time. He was a smaller white poodle so the makeup really showed up on him. He had a purple poof on his head and bright red fingernail polish on his claws. Oh, those poor dogs, but they were so good to let me play with them like that. Good puppies. All in the name of love, and I guess they must have really loved me to put up with that. π
