It’s Official…Our Baby is a Teenager

Commence screaming (from me)…
Miss Gabi turns 13 tomorrow. (sigh) She’s already begun the teenage attitude thing. In fact she snapped at me yesterday for leaving her book in a friend’s car. I turned to her and asked “Are you going to be this bitchy throughout all your teenage years?” Needless to say, my comment didn’t go over too well. But I think I got my point across!
I love this youngest baby of mine. And if we can survive teenage-dom with her two older sisters, we should be able to make it with her.
Gabi will bring all kinds of different things that her sisters didn’t. There’ll be basketball games, 4H projects, and who knows what else. There’ll be similarities too…the new cell phone (birthday present) will see to that! ‘Put it away…stop texting…Gabi…GAbi…GABIIIII – get off the phone and answer me!!!!’ We haven’t hit this point yet. Anyone want to lay bets on how long it will take? (I shouldn’t say that…maybe we won’t! Hahahaha – who am I kidding?) So far she’s listening and leaving it down here when she goes to bed. That’s a major ‘Way to go Gabi!!!’
I love you baby girl. 13 years ago you kicked your way into the world! (Literally…ALL THE WAY through the labor AND delivery. Before she was even born I was calling her a little shit.) Oh well…I love you anyway Gab!
And more and more and more…everyday…
Love,
Mom (Patty O)
Happy Birthday and may mom have it easier than she thinks 😀 .

Maybe that whole betting process with the cell phone could be turned into a college fund. 😉 Of course that’s assuming you win the bet and we don’t.
