I Choose to NOT be Belligerent
Yes, I said it.
Let’s not just look at the things we choose to be…let’s look at the things we choose NOT to be.
We’ve all had people in our lives that have brought about a better understanding of who we want to be like or who we don’t want to be like.
As much as I loved my parents, there were things they did/said that I knew I didn’t want to emulate. And the same goes for other people that I’ve met throughout the years.
Sometimes it really is important to look at the things we don’t want to do or be like…and remember.
Remember to stop and smell the roses…
Be thankful for all your blessings – big and small…
Smile at others…
Say a prayer for someone else…
Be a good friend to have a good friend.
Blah, blah, blah…
(Yes, I’ve posted all these wonderful things too in the past.)
But now, let’s expand on it…
Things NOT to do… (some I’m throwing in just for fun)
Don’t hurt other people – physically or emotionally.
Don’t hurt yourself.
Don’t throw away good food (didn’t your mother ever tell you there’s starving children in Africa?).
Don’t eat just junk food…(all things in moderation 🙂 ).
Don’t be a hoarder (Sam thinks this may become a problem for her…we’re working on that). 🙂
Don’t hold a grudge…let it go!
Don’t sit on your computer for hours on end…said like a true blogger. (Hrmph.)
Don’t be crabby at other people just because you think they have it all. You don’t know their whole story – you may be better off than they are.
Don’t judge…that’s God’s job.
DO TRY TO BE A GOOD PERSON…EVERYDAY.
And if you fall, get back up and try tomorrow!
Have a good night everyone,
I hope you too, choose to not be belligerent.
