Today was a Blog-Worthy Day

Not that there haven’t been others, but today seemed exceptionally blog worthy.

This was my schedule when I started:

9 a.m. Meet with a friend to look over his vintage and antique items he wanted me to sell for him.

1 p.m. Meet with a friend for tea (it’s been months since we’ve gotten together).

Then a client wanted to meet after to go through her orders. {Add one client meeting at about 3:00 p.m.}

At 8:30 I received a call from the Sewer Roto-router guy that he’d be arriving at 10:00/10:30. (Yeah…that mess happened two days before.) {Change 9 a.m. meeting to after roto-router guy so we have more time to visit.} Read more

Can you say FANTASTIC?

Just look at the architecture of this place.

It’s modern, almost futuristic, definitely fun, and gorgeous!

And Now, the PiΓ¨ce de RΓ©sistance…My Dining Room

By now, you’ve seen most of my house, all decorated for Christmas…

The bedrooms, dressing room, and bathrooms only get a few touches of Christmas, so they really don’t need their own post.

But the dining room…now the dining room is another story.

For a couple of years now, I’ve wanted to put a (faux) Christmas tree in there.

I’ve had the perfect plan.

I’d collected ornaments from Goodwill and garage sales.

I’d picked up a Christmas tree from a friend who had decided to give it away.

But last year, sadly, I was just too sick to get all my decorations up, and that tree stayed in the basement.

But this year…

This year is different.

Without further ado, take a look at my dining room Christmas. Β A moment of silence to appreciate the beauty…

I could stand here and look at it all day. Β Especially from this view…

An Old Fashioned Christmas and My Craft Area

Hello again!

Today brings us to my Front Porch.

Let me explain, before you see the photos, this is the area where most everything gets put when we don’t know where else to put it.

Well…and it holds all the items that I find that I want to do a project with…that’s where it really gets messy.

So today’s post is real…like really real.

Crazy messy, wildly overflowing, perfectly imperfect real. Read more
