A Beautiful Foot Muscle (?)


My Neurologist told me I have a beautiful foot muscle today.

We had been discussing Peripheral Neuropathy and EMG testing and she wanted to see my feet.  Her assistant/student and I had a good laugh when she commented on the beauty of my foot.

We really laughed when she told us how she looks at people’s feet and thinks to herself – I’d really like to poke that foot!

79 Cousins…


Seriously,

I have 79 cousins.

I know that sounds a little insane, but it’s true!

My Mom was from a family of 17 kids…and most of the cousins are from there – a whopping 63 of them!  My Dad came from a family of 6 kids – a mere 16 cousins from there.  Add in the 6 kids in my family and I think we officially define the term “brood”. Read more

Yes, one of those runny nose, head feels dizzy, I’m oh so very tired type of colds.

Things I have learned…

To trust my heart…About 3 months ago a friend of mine brought me her grandfather’s coat and asked if it would sell in our shop…I looked at it and fell in love, feeling that somehow it reminded me of my Dad.  When I did my walk down memory lane a few days ago, I found a picture of my brother and I hugging my Dad when he got home from work…and he was wearing the exact same coat.  (Well he had the same type of coat, not the exact same coat…just to clarify!)  I never had brought the coat to the store…I couldn’t seem to part with it and now I know why.  It’ll be in my possession from now on…I’ve even worn it a few times…what a fun memory to have.
