RassaFrassafasdsdflk (Swear Words)

I just wrote a blog post about my weekend…

and I tried to click on Preview…

and it didn’t work.

So I clicked on Save Draft and it brought me to a strange screen asking if I was sure I wanted to do this and I pressed “Please try again”…after all I was trying to save the draft right?

WRONG.

It’s gone.

{sigh}

So here’s my new post.

Title filled with swear words and all.

Happy Monday.

Hrmph.

Tomorrow is Tuesday…

Or as Elena sang today…”Toooomorrrow—there’ll be sunnn” (only as a 3 year old can sing)!

Thank you to Pinterest for the picture!  Yes, I felt like Yosemite Sam in “I Hates Rabbits”…YouTube it…it’s worth it!

Patty’s Attic

Today I bring you a touch of beauty via recycling.  Flowers and herbs planted in some fantastic, vintage pieces that I purchased.  They’ve been scraped, washed, and poly’d or painted!

They’ve all lived a good life, and I’ve re-purposed them so they may enjoy a NEW life!  Join me – 2 doors down from Ely’s Annual Blueberry Festival in Whiteside Park!  Will you give one of these lovelies a new home?

For pricing, you can look at my Facebook page:  A Thankfully Imperfect Woman!

Thanks for reading!  I promise to be back with fun stories soon!

Have a GREAT weekend!

Having Kids is like Living in a Comic Strip

On any given day you can take your pick…heck, on any given moment you can take your pick!

Some days your child lays down and screams like he or she is dying…  Read more

Top 10 Things I Look Forward To…

So here it is…

My list.

The list of things I look forward to.  This list is a combination of “bucket list” items and everyday items and “someday dreams” items.  It’s not put into order by my most important item as #1, it’s more in timeline order.

As I sat down to write this list I realized there are so many more things I could put on here.  The “little things”…like watching Gabi run cross-country races this fall, or her basketball games.  Or seeing Sam off to her 2nd year at college…and the daily phone calls when she’s gone.  Or the chances I get to see Alex, Tom and my adorable grandpuppy Louis (snorts and all). The Winner of the Worst Bed Head Competition

It’s official!

I thought I had bad “Bed Head” days…(of course I’m not going to show you!)

But then Jen brought the babies and I saw the back of Elena’s head.

Need I say more?

Look at that rat’s nest!

And what you can’t see is it poofs out about 5 inches from her head!

Happy Friday everyone – I hope this brought you a smile!
