Top 10 Things I Look Forward To…

So here it is…

My list.

The list of things I look forward to. This list is a combination of “bucket list” items and everyday items and “someday dreams” items. It’s not put into order by my most important item as #1, it’s more in timeline order.

As I sat down to write this list I realized there are so many more things I could put on here. The “little things”…like watching Gabi run cross-country races this fall, or her basketball games. Or seeing Sam off to her 2nd year at college…and the daily phone calls when she’s gone. Or the chances I get to see Alex, Tom and my adorable grandpuppy Louis (snorts and all). Read more

I HAVE A GRANDPUPPY!!!!

Yes, you heard me right!

A Grandpuppy!

Let me formally introduce you to the new love of our family, Louis (pronounced Lew-ee)!

Isn’t he absolutely ADORABLE?

Of course I may be a little prejudice…

I can’t wait to meet this little man (err…English Bulldog).

Alex and her boyfriend Tom adopted sweet little Louis on Saturday.

I have refrained from racing down to meet him…I told Alex that they needed the weekend to bond.

I will wait…

I can wait…

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!

But…

Oh My Gosh…

I want to squeeze the stuffin’s out of this sweet little dog!

I will get my turn…

Grandma can be patient!

You Were My Baby Boy…

Pet people will get it. Non-pet people may not.

Hershey came into our lives over 13 years ago. A sweet little chocolate lab puppy that was the runt of the litter.

At the time, our family consisted of two girls: Alex (10) and Sam (6), and one more baby on the way. Little did we know that our 2 legged baby would be another girl and that Hershey would be our baby boy.

And what a sweet baby boy he was – right from day one.

He was Tim’s best buddy (Tim’s only comrade in arms against all the female hormones of the house).
