Winter Wishes and Snowflake Kisses

Boy does that sound like a sappy title or what?  Yes, well, sometimes you just have to go with it.

The snow has been falling beautifully all day, adding up to a couple of inches on the ground.  It makes me want to go out and make a snow angel.

For now, I’m snuggled up on the couch with one of my daughters on the other end…sick with a bug.  Another daughter is on an over-stuffed chair blowing her nose.  Tis the season of bugs…cold bugs, flu bugs, just plain old yucky bugs!

So we’ll stay on the couch and chair…watching The Wedding Planner…and admiring the falling snow on our Christmas tree now turned winter decoration on our deck.

Isn’t it lovely?

It was far too nice to throw in the woods, having lived its life as a Christmas tree.  We thought we’d leave the lights on it and just move it outside so we could enjoy it all winter.

It truly is lovely.  There’s no better word for it.

My wish for you is that you enjoy this winter and all the beauty it brings.

And let the snowflakes kiss your face…tip your head back, stick your tongue out and try to catch one while you’re at it.

When you get off your couch, that is.
