Antiquing, Vintaging, and Consignment Shopping!

Wahoooooooooo!
It’s been a day of fun for me and two of my girls…and Tim and Tom!
I wasn’t sure if Gabi was really going to be up to the task of consignment shopping, she is her father’s daughter after all. But then, she ever so valiantly tagged along for this part of the trip. We even found her a few new tops for school in the fall!
What was on the agenda, you ask?
Homemade cinnamon rolls by Alex…YUM!
A stop at my favorite antique store in the Twin Cities: Hunt & Gather (like their facebook page!) There are antiques, and vintage, and plants, and TONS of fun goodies…and it’s their 10 year Anniversary party this weekend which means 20% off! Whoot, whoot!
Then we hit a few consignment stores…Al said she needed a few new pieces for her wardrobe. (Oh darn, she twisted my arm…make me go shopping.)
And of course there’s been more playing with Louis…
Supper you ask? Mussels, shrimp, pommes frites (french fries), bread … and for dessert – Chocolate Moose Cake! Yum Yum! (I knew I needed to bring the Chocolate Moose Cake or Tom might not ever forgive me!)
I think I’ll start my diet next week…
Hrmph.
But for today – Wahoooooo!
Have a great Saturday!

Sounds like tons of fun!
