The mouse, the Fudge Fluff, and Ronald

I’m a cheap date.

I really am.

Would I like the whole expensive dinner, dancing, a little blingy gift type of date?

Well, heck yes…I certainly wouldn’t turn it down.

However, I’m just as happy renting a movie, snuggling with my honey on the couch with a cheap glass of wine and a fudge fluff cookie.

But God forbid you mess with my fudge fluff cookies. Ok, well my family can…I’ll even share, most of the time.

I have a plan…

A plan is being hatched…

It involves my mother-in-law Barbara, myself, Tim’s truck, coffee and our local landfill.

I called her this morning and told her I needed a partner-in-crime.

OK, so it’s not really for crime…however my husband might equate it to a crime for me to bring home some of the treasures I find.

Does he complain? Well, no. But I get the look.

And if he’s being particularly patient, I don’t get the look, but I know it’s still underneath that kind face.

Entropy, Humbled and Honored

I am amazed, absolutely amazed by the people (men and women) that are liking and commenting on my blog.

I started this little adventure after encouragement from my friend Jan, (who will someday be a guest blogger on here).

I never expected that anyone but my close friends and family might read it, ok, never is too strong a word…I admit I secretly hoped it could turn into something bigger, but c’mon now – I’m just me…in little Ely, Minnesota.

I’m not trying to be all cutesy – “oh it’s just lil’ ole’ me”.

After all – God made me – I must be something special.

Winter Wishes and Snowflake Kisses

Boy does that sound like a sappy title or what? Yes, well, sometimes you just have to go with it.

The North Pole threw up in our house.

The best laid plans….

I had great plans for writing a blog every day. And then life got in the way this week.

I think I even talked about it in my last post…ah, yes – “Tomorrow we’ll talk more about my Christmas decoration addiction”. See? I did have great plans. Well a few tomorrows later, here I am!!!
